Ah, the holiday of love (and chocolate) is finally here – Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re single, in a relationship, or celebrating with your friends, it can be challenging to pick the right restaurant or send the best bouquet for the big day.

Thankfully, technology is here to help. From making reservations or booking a getaway to connecting with distant loved ones, there are plenty of ways your ZTE device can make the romantic holiday run as smooth as possible. Here are just a few ways to make your special someone feels a little love on February 14th:

    1. Don’t Forget V-Day: First things first, don’t fall into the trap of forgetting your Valentine’s Day plans. Use the Android system to set reminders of when to call and make a reservation, what time to pick up the flowers, and most importantly, when to pick your date up. Use a calendar app to add events or download a task app – we like the Google Reminders system, as you can use voice recognition to set any reminder that you need.
    2. Staycation or Getaway: Whether you’re staying local or jetting off for a romantic getaway, technology can help. Download the OpenTable app and you’ll have access to restaurants around you with availability on Valentine’s Day. You can select, book, and edit your reservation – picking the restaurant will be the only hard part! If your V-Day plan includes a romantic vacation, first use Instagram or Pinterest to find some inspiration, then download an app like Kayak or HotelTonight to book travel and stay.
    3. Gifts & More: It’s no secret that Valentine’s Day is a big ecommerce holiday. Whether you’re in a long-distance relationship and need to order a gift or looking to send some love to your “galentines” - there’s an app for that! Most of your favorite flower delivery services are available on the Android store (for example, 1-800-Flowers), and the same goes for ordering and sending gifts (Amazon Prime is especially helpful here). Search, shop, and send away!
    4. Connect from Afar 'Face-to-Face': The magic of video calling is here to stay and a great way to connect on Valentine’s Day with your loved one who may be far away. Check out the Google Duo app as we find it very easy to use and reliable when chatting.

These are just a few ways you can spread the love this Valentine’s Day, but we’d love to hear how did you use technology to celebrate the holiday? Share with us using #ZTEVDay!
