On the second day of IFA, news winds down and consumer attendance winds up. Unlike other technology tradeshow, IFA is open to the public so they too can experience the latest technology in mobile devices to laundry machines, and fittingly, we hosted a speaking panel about Project CSX – our crowdsourced smart device.
Phase one of Project CSX, ideation, came to a close on August 31. Consumers will vote for the top three ideas out of nearly 400 ideas submitted to become ZTE’s next mobile device. Once the top ideas are announced on September 12, phase two will begin. In Phase 2, ideas will come into focus when the novice to the experienced submit concept designs. During the panel discussion ZTE executives Waiman Lam, Jeff Yee, and David Alan Smith detailed what the company is looking for in concept design submissions.
