2016 went by fast and before we knew it the holidays were here. At ZTE, this season is just a precursor to the biggest technology event of the year: Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. As we ramp up for this year’s show (January 5-8), let’s take a look back at what we revealed last year and what’s to come at CES 2017.
Last year, we revealed some amazing devices like the ZTE Grand X 3, an affordable device with a 5.5-inch HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and the Avid Plus, a more casual follow-up to the Avid 4G. But we didn’t stop at devices.
At ZTE we put consumers at the heart of everything we do, and at CES 2016 we put actions behind our words. The first item announced was the Axon Passport Program 2.0, allowing for unlimited out-of-warranty repairs, a stronger customer support system, and more all free for any customer who bought an Axon phone through us. Additionally, our team announced the member-led Z-Community forum and Project CSX last year. This reveal was one of our most important to date as today Z-Community is stronger than ever and provides a place for ZTE fans and tech enthusiasts to help shape the future of our mobile devices and company services. Plus, we brought eight ZTE fans to Vegas for the CES experience of a lifetime (check this out!), and we’re bringing even more this year, all selected from our Z-Community! Who knows, maybe you’ll be selected for next year’s festivities…
Finally, we look to the future. While we should remain tight-lipped ahead of our CES 2017 press conference on January 4th, we can tell you this: there are a lot of exciting things to come, such as new and exciting product announcements and company news. Aside from press conference reveals, we’ll be hanging out at our booth (LVCC, South Hall 3 – 30300) for the duration of the show, along with a few Basketball Legends – but you didn’t hear that from us.
Be a part of the conversation and check out our ZTE USA Facebook page for updates before, during and after the show, and make sure to use the #ZTECES hashtag on Twitter to join in.
More to come!
