In this edition of Ask the Expert, we’re featuring Jeff Yee, VP of Product Marketing & Strategy at ZTE Mobile Devices. We ask him about Mobile World Congress announcements and his experience on the floor of the conference.
Q: What do you like most about ZTE’s Blade V9?
A: The Blade V9 is one of my favorite phones to date. A budget phone with cutting-edge technology and flagship specs truly make it one of a kind. The sleek design of the ZTE Blade V9 features an industry leading screen-to-body ratio of 83.6%. Furthermore, the dual camera low-light technology enables consumers to capture clear and stunning nighttime photographs and experience low-light photography like never before.
Q: How is ZTE leading the way in 5G technology?
A: We were proud to announce the first 5G phone at MWC 2017 and have it on display again at the show this year. ZTE is leading 5G innovation and we are ready to launch a 5G phone by early 2019 so consumers can have the power in the palm of their hand. 5G will enable faster connections, low-latency and a more connected world, and we’re proud to be leading the way.
Q: What do you see being an integral part of ZTE’s 2018 strategy?
A: This year, we will continue to invest and build our brand by listening to the needs of our consumers around the world. We have experienced strong brand awareness and growth in the US and other markets, and we are developing innovative mechanisms and incentives to support our marketing efforts. Overall, our marketing strategy is focused on supporting innovative products like our Axon and Blade series smartphones, all of which were on display at the show.
