The biggest phone show in the world, Mobile World Congress (MWC), is right around the corner. As the mobile community migrates to Barcelona, more than 108,000 people will attend the show to see what’s new.
The show officially opens on February 26, but ZTE’s stuff (the good stuff, in our humble opinion) starts on February 25 with our can’t miss press conference to introduce the anticipated Blade smartphone.
Here’s a snapshot of what we are most interested in and what to expect at the show:
- Blade Unveiling: Look, we can’t share much right now, but we’re excited – very excited. What we can tell you is that it’s going to be a great mid-ranger and an incredible addition to our globally-lauded Blade smartphone series.
- MWC’s First Sports & Entertainment Summit: On Wednesday, February 28, the Summit will bring together leaders in an array of fields, coming from the finance, sports, entertainment and mobile worlds. This summit will discuss the importance of sports companies reaching fans through non-traditional media, with the ever-changing times in technology.
- Formula 1 Display: Speaking of sports. For the first time in MWC history, Formula 1 will have its own space. Attendees will be able to discover current and future initiatives of Formula 1 across all digital platforms, visiting a fully-branded 450 square-metre stand. The stand will highlight the new, innovative face of Formula 1 in the digital space.
- Going to the show and want a fun activity? Is this your first time at MWC or are you a seasoned veteran looking to learn something new? MWC Tours are guided by “dynamic industry experts who share perspectives from their unique vantage points.” They will lead you through the mobile ecosystem and introduce you to exhibitors all around the show. Though MWC Tours offer nine of the most popular topics in the mobile industry today, we recommend trying out the 5G or emerging tech tour.
We can’t wait to be in Barcelona and see what new innovations will be unveiled, and we’re excited to share ours with you. Make sure to check back here next week for a full recap of the conference.
