Oakland, Calif., December 30, 2014— ZTE USA, the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in the U.S. and second largest in the off-contract market*, along with the Golden State Warriors, are holding a phone donation drive today at Oracle Arena to benefit the Warriors Community Foundation’s Hoops for Kids program. Fans attending tonight’s game are encouraged to donate a new or used phone to give Bay Area youth the gift of technology they might not otherwise receive. This phone drive marks both ZTE USA’s and the Warriors’ commitment to giving back to the communities in which they operate, as well as the beginning of a larger corporate social responsibility relationship between the two companies.

From inception, ZTE USA has sought to increase and expand their brand awareness in the U.S. and San Francisco Bay Area through this partnership with the Warriors. In addition to the phone drive, the company is debuting its new, more consumer-focused branding, including a new logo and tagline, for the first time in the U.S. during the game.
Fans can donate their phones at Section 105 inside of Oracle Arena, and will receive a free Warriors scarf in return.
